Centralising To Serve You Better

To ensure a quicker and more coordinated response to our students, United Language Centre has centralised its contact number to +65 8287 7221 and students may direct all inquiries here, moving forward. We strongly encourage students to send their inquiries in English, but if there are difficulties in doing so, please continue to use your native language and ULC’s friendly country representatives will be in touch with you within 24 working hours.

Crossing the 1000th Student Mark

We are excited to share that United Language Centre has reached yet another milestone, and we now have more than 1000 students with the ULC family! We are extremely grateful for the support and trust from our student family. ULC will continue its good work to keep classes small and personalised to meet your individual learning needs.

ULC Birthday Campaign

Congratulations to Whitney Ma Xiao Yue for emerging champion in United Language Centre’s Birthday Campaign! The campaign was created to recognise ULC’s loyal students, and to thank students for sharing the good things about ULC out there on social media. We’ve heard all of your shoutouts, thank you!

ULC’s 2nd Branch in Singapore

ULC’s 2nd Branch in Singapore is opening in the middle of December! It is conveniently located in the heart of Orchard Road at TripleOne Somerset!! More information will be shared shortly.

Changes To Provision of Learning Materials

We have ceased sharing PDF copies of the textbook, and will also be ceasing sales of the printed versions by the end of the year as part of our commitment to be more environmentally friendly. Feel free to approach our friendly staff if you need to loan a physical book just for the day.

Bon Voyage Teacher Natalie Milne!

F1 Party at ULC

It was the F1 weekend and United Language Centre decided to have an F1 party! This was the first large-scale gathering since COVID-19 measures were relaxed and teachers, students and their families came to the party all geared up to watch F1, bond over food, drinks and Karaoke, while children were entertained with face painting and balloon sculpting activities.

ULC will organise more of such events, so that students have more chances to forge friendships with people from different countries. The night ended with a cake cutting ceremony to celebrate ULC’s 10th year and a lucky draw, where the winner walked away with a customised ULC gift box and a bottle of champagne.

ULC Celebrates Halloween

Teachers and students at United Language Centre spooked each other out with their costumes during Halloween. In the two days of celebration, we saw the likes of Cruella de Vil, Mark Zuckerberg, Monalisa, aliens, and animals appear right at the centre. Kudos to the students who joined in the fun and came dressed in their costumes too!

Here are the results for the Best Dressed: Carol Thomas, Seo Yoon, and Jia Lishi! 🎉

Deepavali Celebrations

It was a splash of colours at United Language Centre on 24 October because of Deepavali. We celebrate Deepavali in Singapore to signify the triumph of light over darkness and that was why some teachers were dressed up in traditional Indian attire – Saree for ladies and Kurta for men, for two days. We will continue to celebrate different traditions and festivals at ULC to bring different cultures of the world right here to our centre.
