Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality lessons to students of all levels, utilising a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet diverse student needs.
  • Assess student progress through a range of methods, including formative and summative assessments, and provide feedback to students and their families as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective English language curriculum, including lesson plans, assessments, and materials.
  • Participate in professional development activities to continuously improve teaching skills and knowledge of English language pedagogy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and grades.

    Requirements & Qualifications:

    • Confident in teaching adults primarily but must be able to teach children as well.

    Job description:
    We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated academic English language teacher to join our team of educators. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of English language pedagogy.
    As a freelance academic English language teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students of all levels, assessing student progress, and contributing to the ongoing development of the English language curriculum.

    Working duration/rates:

    • Teaching hours:
    • Night lessons (7pm – 9pm) and Saturdays (9:00am – 5pm).
    • Must be available minimally of 10 hours per week.
    • Rates: Hourly based.
    • It may differ depending on the lesson timing. (Weekdays/Weekends/Nights)

    Responsibilities:

    • Proactively reach out to prospective students and their families, both through outbound calls and face-to-face interactions, to understand their language learning needs and goals
    • Present and promote our diverse range of language programs, highlighting their unique features and benefits
    • Conduct in-depth consultations to assess students’ language proficiency levels and recommend suitable courses
    • Generate and follow up on leads to achieve individual sales targets and maximise conversion rates
    • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring a smooth enrollment experience for students
    • Collaborate with the Marketing and Admissions teams to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings to position ULC as the preferred language education provider
    • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance sales skills and product knowledge

    Requirements:

    • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the education or language training industry
    • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele
    • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving sales and achieving success
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with strong collaboration skills
    • Proficiency in both written and spoken English, and additional language proficiency is a plus
    • Experience with Hubspot CRM systems or sales software is an advantage

    Customer Service Associate

    Responsibilities:

    • Retain and maintain student relationships through regular interactions, updates, and follow-ups.
    • Collaborate with educators and sales team to provide seamless customer experiences.
    • Manage student credits and packages, keeping track of individual progress and product utilization.
    • Represent the school’s image and uphold our values in all customer interactions.
    • Coordinate private lesson schedules, managing bookings, rescheduling requests, and teacher changes.
    • Join and participate in WhatsApp group communication with students, parents, educators, and sales team to ensure smooth coordination.
    • Compile monthly credit consumption reports and share with the sales team to identify potential renewal opportunities.

    Requirements:

    • Proven track record in a customer service role, preferably in the education or language training industry. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply!
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
    • Highly organized and meticulous, with an ability to manage multiple responsibilities and tasks.
